Immediately, Coach Carter informs the players that he believes that they will become not only a team that will win but people that will succeed in life. In this heartwarming scene, Jason volunteers to help out Cruz in finishing his task. After some hesitation, every single player on the team joins Jason in helping Cruz. As quoted earlier, Jason says, "We're a team. One person struggles, we all struggle. One person triumphs, we all triumph." This quote is so important to the concept of solidarity.
