(#2) A.Galvez 4/03/23 Jack the Ripper was one of many mysterious cases of murder but what makes this case so special is that it was one that was never truly solved. Killings of Jack were prioritized on mostly prostitute women which made getting information of the killer hard since no one saw any one with the killer at the time of death. Annie Chapman was a mother of 3, she worked hard to supply the children, and even worked as a prostitute to do so which led to her death. She was killed on 29th Hanbury Street in the house she was working in. Her body was found naked with only her red and white striped stockings on her body. Later Autopsy showed that she had been swollen to her face, tongue protruding between the teeth, tongue was seen very swollen and finally her neck there had been a cut almost through her entire neck. Catherine’s body was probably the most gruesome death the police had ever seen and it was clear of who had killed her based on autopsies. Catherine’s body consisted of a straight cut down her body reaching her abdomen clearly showing her guts, and what made the police know who the killer was,was a cut to the throat. Catherine’s story had been one that police had not been able to figure out yet because no one really knew what she was doing at the time. People close to her had told different stories as to what she was doing at the time which made things difficult to really understand what to do.
