In Robert Kurson’s book, “Shadow Divers,” he reveals how a group of divers solve one of the last mysteries of World War II. Captain Bill Nagle owns the Seeker which is a charter boat that people can rent to take them to shipwrecks. Nagle is a world renowned deep sea shipwreck diver, because he pushes the limits on how far and where divers can go. Nagle has explored some of the most dangerous shipwrecks such as the Andrea Doria and Texas Tower. He has also retrieved various souvenirs from wrecks such as china dishes and the boat’s bell, but Nagle has massive respect for the history of sunken watercraft.

There are times in history that are significant for more than one reason and stand out because of the spark they ignite setting off a chain of other events. Of course to ignite something means the conditions are right to be combustible. The sinking of the U.S.S Maine has come to be one of those events which impacted not only the history of the United States but the world. The U.S.S. Maine, its voyage and ultimate annihilation led to the Spanish-American War.
On February 15, 1898, 266 American Sailors were killed in the explosion of the USS Maine, an American battleship docked in the Havana Harbor in Cuba. Through recent investigations the source as to what caused the explosion is said to have been by five tons of powder stored within the ship’s forward magazines. The explosion caused immense damage to the ship, leaving what was left to sink to the bottom of the harbor. Just days after the incident many begun to speculate if the explosion was purely accidental or if it was an attack by the Spanish. We at The New York World have reviewed and examined the incident to a point where we can theorize exactly who and what cause this tragedy.
On March 1st, 1932, the child of Charles and Anne Lindbergh, Charles Augustus Lindbergh, was kidnapped from his home at only 20 months old, and later found with a crushed skull not far from the Lindbergh household. This kidnapping and murder sparked one of the biggest criminal investigations in American History, and was even dubbed “The Trial of the Century”. In the end, a German immigrant named Bruno Hauptmann was convicted and executed for the murder and kidnapping of Charles Augustus Lindbergh. But controversy has been spurred over this investigation, questioning the guilt of Hauptmann; after all, Hauptmann did claim innocence to the very end. Could this man have killed a baby, his execution being the result of an anti-foreigner America,
It will help me provide examples supporting the theory that people like to believe conspiracy theories to make order of unexplainable
In the summer of 1947, there was a day that caused a lot of speculation and hysteria in Roswell, a city in New Mexico. On that day, June 14th, 1947, an unknown object crash-landed into a ranch in the city of Roswell, New Mexico, leaving a huge amount of debris. There were many people that did not know what to make of this, and asked themselves, “Was that an alien crash or was it something else?” Many people claimed that it was from an unidentified flying object, or UFO, but others believe it is something less interesting. However, the hype of the incident was silenced until 1979 after the U.S. government officially declared that the debris was nothing more than the debris of a weather balloon.
On June 14, 1947, the town of Roswell, New Mexico was home to a discovery that would propel the fifth-largest New Mexico city to worldwide fame. The discovery, in question, was debris that is debated to be either manmade or alien in origin. While bizarre conspiracy theories were given the spotlight a few decades later, the Roswell Incident managed to influence popular culture from things like The X-Files to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Nowadays, Roswell serves as a tourist attraction due it its infamy, with plastic green and grey aliens plastered all over town and even a McDonald’s shaped like a flying saucer. Regardless of the town’s current playful reputation as a UFO enthusiast’s Mecca, the infamy itself is due to a decades long heated debate
Despite the discovery of its location, some people still do not believe
I have always enjoyed exploring the world, but the adventure that always sticks out the most was my cruise to the tropical paradise of Bermuda. I have cruised to the Bahamas, as well as spent countless weeks of my lifetime in the Outer Banks. The cruise to Bermuda was only my second time out of the country, leaving from Baltimore, Maryland one Friday afternoon and arriving on the shores of the tropical island on Sunday afternoon. Waking up on a Saturday in the beginning of August and being able to look out the window and seeing water for as far as you can see is a one time thing and an experience like no other. The days spent traveling the open seas, gives you the chance to live life while leaving all of your baggage back on shore.

Throughout history there have exist a lot of theories that could explain the weird phenomena that occurs in the waters of The Bermuda Triangle. Since Christopher Columbus was exploring the waters of the Atlantic Ocean he described in his trips about how he saw strange events happening in those waters. There has been reports of disappearances of dozens of ships, planes and persons all gone into oblivion where no one could tell how or when it occurred, they could just acknowledge the fact that they were gone forever, and that there was no concrete answer for what happened. Another one was the sightings of UFO’s coming out from the ocean, which was explained to have happened perhaps because the center of the Earth was populated by extraterrestrial beings, who from time to time emerge from the poles in spacecrafts, perhaps because in the 20th century Hohlwelttheorie was linked with the belief of aliens. Moreover, this theory has also been linked with conspiracies such as that the Nazi specially Hitler knew of an entrance to the interior world at the South Pole, and that Hitler next to other of his colleagues and friends fled there at the end of WWII. In that same wavelength the popular science fiction story “A journey to the Centre of the Earth” by French novelist Jules Verne (1828-1905) has given the theory its most lasting exposition starting in the late 19th century, in which he describes the discovery of a prehistoric world by explorer who went down a volcano to find out this interior world, that had its own source of light, water, and life was

One of the reason that cause hurricane it’s depend on environment. Hurricane use the warm air and warm ocean as the power of the storm. As being said, the warm temperature that form above the ocean create the rotating wind because when warm air and cool air are touching together then it makes an area of lower pressure, warm air is lighter than cool air so higher air pressure pushes into the lower pressure area and it cause hurricane.
