From the Christian Dior era of flowery fashion, to today’s modern and aggressive take on clothing by the deceased Alexander Mcqueen, fashion has always changed at a fast pace rate, with us consumers never knowing what’s to come next. For decades clothing has determined so much for us, somewhat of an unspoken perception of each other. Class, personality, style, likes, and dislikes can all be perceived just by taking one glance at somebody. For some people fashion is just some silly industry thats is pointless, and others it’s something that they’ve dedicated their lives towards, it is their art. Men in womenswear was seen as a taboo, but women had been incorporating menswear since the 20’s and 30’s, and finally became a full on fashion statement with pants in the 60’s with Yves Saint Laurent. Women wearing menswear today is so normal with today’s common trends being article of clothing such as the boyfriend jean, the boy short, and all things slouchy.
