The civil rights movement started back in the 1950’s .After segregation was found unconstitutional in 1954 that sparked colored people to fight for their rights.There was a lot of influential people like Dr Martin Luther King , Rosa Parks, Little Rock Nine and many more who didn’t get as much recognition but made a big impact on the movement.As for today i feel like the civil rights movement has been sparked once again like in the 1950’s. With movements like black lives matter people are tired of the killings by police and the way schools are starting to be segregated little by little. As for the environment around Jordan High School i feel like it’s getting better there were more fight between between Hispanics and African americans when i was in my freshman and sophomore year. But even though there many not be as much fights the school is now more segregated ,with hispanics hanging out towards the south side of the school and blacks hanging out on the north side. i Feel like that’s a problem that needs to be fixed and one way i feel it can be changed is if we hold more rallies school that way the students interact with each other.The environment around my neighborhood is actually
