In these paragrphs I will be answering on simple question “Do you think?” and that is exactly what I’m going to answer. Before I start getting ethical let me tell you what I’m talking about, I’m talking about the end of the novel The Giver. The story geos that Jonas and a baby named Gabriel who climbs a hill during a frightfull snow storm to find a sled waiting at the top. Getting on the sled both Jonas and gabe slide happily into the safty of elsewhere in a happy little ending. We’ll I dont think that and this is why.
Here are some of the things I couldnt help but find fishy. The first big red flag here is the sled wich is at the top of the hill where the book says they ecsape. I dont know about you but what is the chances of a perfictly we’ll sled on the top of a hill in the middle of a snow storm? I know that it could of been one of the kids from inside that house but in the book it says “Jonas found the sled waiting for them on the top of the hill. Numbly his hands fumbled for the rope.” So it says that the sled isnt even coverd in snow from a strom that says can block his vision. Even so if it was one of the childrens from insied why didnt he ride the sled to the house and run down this hill? But that isnt even the biggining of it cuase I think Jonas didnt even make up the hill in the first place.
Let me explain in the book Jonas pasifictly said “He was not warmer; if anything he felt more cold.” and things like “He was not less exhausted; on the contrary, his steps were leaden, and he
