The Industrial Revolution helped and harmed people in many different ways. It helped people by making consumer goods more plentiful and less expensive. So the idea and image of these factories were to produce these goods at a faster rate, but for what cost? A downside of the Industrial revolution or the cost would be that children would be forced to do hard labor and live with poor health. The Revolution also brought in many new ideas and technologies. Such as the steam boat, steam engine, and railroads, which made it easier to travel. But with these new creations also came the start of mass polluting to our Earth.
