The Crucible is about a group of girls that was singing and dancing in a forest near a fire and got caught by a minister named reverend parris. Many people was wondering and very suspicious of what they’re were doing outside. The main girls names was Abigail ,Tituba and Betty etc. A man named Reverend parris who is basically the leader of Salem and a minister also the father of Betty and uncle of Abigail was very rich .When the girls was finished dancing Betty mysteriously fainted because she didn’t want to get in trouble because her father had saw them outside in the forest. Her father Reverend parris was just clueless wondering what happened outside, he questioned abigail and she said nothing happened they were just dancing around the fire. …show more content…
People thought Tituba was calling on dead spirits and was talking to the devil, which was not true but no one spoke up about it.Many of these girls made up a pact to not tell the truth about what happened in the forest to protect Abigail because she is the leader and whatever she says goes she slept with a married man named John Proctor. John proctor is a local farmer and abigail was working for him as his servant when they had an affair, his wife Elizabeth Proctor found out and she fired Abigail but she still have feelings for John. At the end john proctor, Mary Warren and many more end up dying because up there witchcraft. The Dying Girl That No One Helped story is about a 28 year old woman named Kitty Genovese who got stabbed/murdered in New York while walking down the street. As the man was stabbing her she was yelling out “HELP ME” “HELP ME” “I’M DYING” and 38 of her neighbors just stood in the house and watched the whole thing , they didn’t do anything until the murderer left the scene and at the time it was to late she was already dead.
