Some place deep inside the minds of everybody 's brain there is a door. A entryway that isolates the universes of fantasy and reality. Fantasy can be a blinding place loaded with the endless longings of individuals . On the other side of fantasy is reality which pounds its hands waiting eagerly to be noticed. The protagonist, Christopher is a true image of what reality is. People can be blinded by the fantasy and forget the facts of reality when there pointed out. In the book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, a teachers at Christopher 's school revealed to Christopher that his mom was in heaven. Although, Christopher doesn 't believe that there is a heaven. Reverend Peters, a priest at school, once told Christopher that heaven wasn 't a place in the universe. Christopher then answered that the best way to get outside the universe would only be to experience a black hole, concluding that heaven can 't be through a black hole. (Haddon, Mark) He feels that individuals believe in heaven because they don 't want to cope with the reality of death. In this particular part of the book Christopher 's personality begins to makes itself present. He doesn 't waste any time and challenges Reverend Peters on his inquiries of religion, One thing about Christopher is he’s not to found of people who trust in thoughts that he knows coherently can 't be true or factual. The basic exploration of his contention is shockingly successful, in this moment of the book he sees a
