Adichie through her own life experiences allows us to perceive ourselves clearly. She reminds us that we are all in endanger of creating a single narrative about the story of things, or people we don't understand. We must not be afraid of things, or people that are different from us. Consequently, we don't understand that what is different from us, so we try to create our own narrative or stereotype, and fill in the gap about a person, or a group of people that we don't understand.
