Library Assignment Laissez-faire is an economic system in which government intervenes as little as possible and essentially allows the people to rule themselves. In Colin Woodard’s American Character, Woodard describes the problems that may arise from the laissez-faire approach. Some problems include: An oscillating economy, inequality, and the destruction of freedom. I have chosen the problems with laissez-faire as my topic and will be using the MLA format.
