The Diary of Anne Frank is one of the most influential pieces from the Holocaust and helps many around the world understand and learn about the Holocaust. The Diary of Anne Frank was written by a girl named Anne Frank who was born to a Jewish family in Germany during the Holocaust. The Frank family had to go into hiding in the space above the Franks family business office buildings to avoid Nazi persecution. During the Frank family's time in hiding, Anne Frank, the Franks's youngest daughter, wrote in her diary that she got for her 13th birthday before going into hiding, creating the diary and writings we know today.
