Buck is a dog that killed his way to the top, but how did he do it. In Call of the wild written by Jake London Buck our main character was the most success full fog of all capable of killing a mosses and the leader of his sled team. He became the leader by murdering the previous one in cold blood. Then soon after he chased a pack of mosses way and killed their eldest. The reason Buck did to well is because he had the best traits, he was more primitive then any dog, and would do anything to please himself or others.
One of the most important things about buck that let him succeed is his dazzling characteristics. Because Buck was taken from California he is a lot bigger then regular sled dogs, but he’s the perfect zine. Big enough so he can pull more weight but small enough so he doesn’t fall through the ice. Being big also comes with many other traits like strength, speed and just raw athleticism. Buck also is a natural leader. Every dog on his sled dog team respects him enough to follow him while he runs away from his human owners across town. However, although these are all important facts it’s not he most important thing about him.

After Buck was kidnaped and sent to the UConn he immediately got into the sled business. Going from nice perfect life to working hard in the cold is hard to do without practice but buck went right into it. The second most obvious behavior showing Bucks primitive behavior is when Buck went from hanging with his bud John Thorn doing nothing to Going on a savage killing spree. While on this this killing spree he slaughtered an elder elk. Then when he returned he killed a group of well trained Indians by himself to avenge John Thorn. Additionally Buck also was a very loyal
