Introduction: Daca and Dreamers play an important role in our American Society.
DACA ( Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals ) was an American imigration policy that allowed individuals who entered to the United States as minors. In 2017 aproximatelly 800,000 individuals were enrolled in this program created by DACA. this policy was stablished during the Obama Administration in June 2012. DACA is a group of people of different nationalities, people that contribute to the economic and social development of the United States of America. DACA is a program that does not grant a path to permanent residency or citizenship.
II . Body Paragraph #2: The Dream Act is a strong legislative solution that would allow young immigrants to continue living their American.
The Dream Act does grant a path to permanent residency and eventually citizenship.
Not all the Dreamers can benefit from the Dream Act, every person that is part of the Dream Act has to meet the requirements that are necessary to be eligible in this legislative solutio.
III. Body Paragraph #3: The Dream Act provides relief to individuals who are recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
The Dream Act would give conditional permanent residency status for eight years to individuals who entered the United States when they were 17 years or younger and who meet the specified requirements.
