It started because Hitler was trying to unite Germany and gain land for the people. Hitler, as Germany’s leader wanted more territory so they took it.
Also the Treaty made Germany unwillingly pay reparations for the damage they caused during the war,
World War I ended in 1918 with the victorious Allied powers, and the peace-promising Treaty of Versailles. However, this treaty 's peace did not last long as its unrealistic demands caused strong resentment within the Central powers against the Allied powers. Territorial losses, reparation payments, and inflation all left Europe in economic ruins. The damage and destruction that resulted from World War I paved a clear path that allowed for World War II to occur. It began in 1933 when Adolf Hitler gained power and, with the help of the Nazi Party, turned Germany in a totalitarian dictatorship.
DBQ 21: Causes of World War II Essay In 1939, the world’s greatest and most powerful nations were launched into World War II, also known as the worst war in modern history. The Second Great War included the central powers and the allied powers. The central powers, which included the countries of Germany, Italy, and Japan, committed belligerent and combative actions which opposed the League of Nations and democratic countries. In opposition to the central powers, the allied powers included the countries of Great Britain, France, the Soviet Union and the United States during the war.
World War II was a continuation of World War I, because the World War I one was outline or first chapter of the World War. Is like you reading a book starting in the second chapter and don't know, what you have in the first chapter. In WWI set up many conflicts, alliances, and grievances that led to WWII. One example is the Nazi Party, we know star on WWI, where Adolf Hitler take a stage and self proclaimed dictator, and united the German people or “Aryan”.
It limited their land, cut back their military, forced them to pay for damages, and brought a sense of guilt and embarrassment over all of the German population. In turn the Germans became angry and the result of that anger was what we call today, World War II, or The Great War. The situation towards the result of World War 2 began shortly after World War 1. After the loss of WW1 and being blamed for most of the war damage, Germany fell into a state of national poverty and depression. Soon a totalitarian dictator named Adolf Hitler would rise to power in Germany start to threaten nearby countries and take control. A conference was held between the European powers and Germany to discuss germany’s actions on taking Austria. During this quarrel between the great powers America didn't want anything to do with them so they went back to isolationism and let them figure it out themselves.

Germany used tactics called Blitz Kreig where you attack fast, catching the enemy off guard. September 17, 1939 the Soviet Union invaded Poland and drove back German troops.

One event leading to World War II started with Hitler rising to power in the 1930s, as he was trying to rebuild Germany. As Germany, was crippled due to World War I and the Treaty of Versailles. Germany was crippled due to World War I and the Treaty of Versailles because Germany lost the war, had to take responsibility, and pay a large amount of money.
