Frankenstein Movie Vs. Book Frankenstein is a gothic story written by Mary Shelley in 1818.Later on adapted to portray as movie in the big screen. The novel is about a man who wants to create life without knowing his actions will cause consequences he never imagined. Although there is many differences and similarities throughout the book and movie. The similarities include character,mood,and plot,though numerous differences.

“A child called Noah” written by Josh Greenfeld, is a story of a family with a child called Noah that is considered to be autistic. This unique story is all written in journal entries, in which the author expressed his daily challenges with his autistic son. Noah Hiro is a child born on July 1, 1966 in Westchester, New York to mother Foumi, father Josh and brother Karl. Noah seems to be okay until he stops talking at the age of two and withdraws himself from what is going on around him.
While the monster himself did begin as a benevolent creature, rejection from man time and time again caused him to grow with a bitter rage inside. He cursed his creator “Cursed, cursed creator! Why did I live? Why, in that instant, did I not extinguish the spark of existence which you had so wantonly bestowed?”(Chapter 16, pg. 1) and swore revenge on Frankenstein. This ultimately leads us to his first victim, William Frankenstein, who like those before him were all terrified of the monster though as the monster held him captive William unknowingly caused his own death by revealing his last name.
Frankenstein's monster's first interaction with people was when he tried to enter a small town. When he entered the town he was aggressive towards the people. He even left the town because because he thought they were threatening his life. Frankenstein was only aggressive towards the people of this town because they saw he was different and much larger then them. He was correct that they were threatening his life because they were they had formed a mob and were coming for him.

He threatens Frankenstein by telling him “I may die, but first you” which shows that the creature is not afraid of dying as long as he can inflict as much pain as possible on Frankenstein first (Shelley 123). Frankenstein, I was intrigued upon reading the novel, because I assumed I was getting to look at the work that gave birth to the cult classic we know as Frankenstein. The bulky simple minded monster made of dead parts that are bolted and sewn together, by a mad scientist and electricity, was hated by the townsfolks and had great fear of fire and all the other cult classic. Instead I find that Frankenstein was the name of his creator and he had no name and he was intelligent, eloquent, yet bulky, horrifically and saddened creature that feels no physical pain, with super strength and acrobatics. Which just leaves me feeling flabbergasted and sorry for the current version of Frankenstein.

She deliberately juxtaposes the exalted vision of Mother Nature with the horrendous spectacle of a man-made monster and his ghastly deeds. This steep contrast sets reader thinking about the wisdom of departing away from the set norms of Nature. Mary's message to mankind is loud and clear; do not mess with Nature for your own good.
