Throughout the time we have been in class. We can see the relationships throughout most of the articles that we have read. We can see those that would fit together, and we can also see those that are a “us”and ”them” relationship.
In the Article The First Clash with the West, you can see the “us” and “them” relationship. I’m picking this topic not because it is fresh on my mind, but it is a point that needs to be made. You can tell that they both have different opinions. They are an us, but then you can tell that they don’t get along. Zhu thinks that there should be opioids allowed on the island. We have to have an agreement to get things the way we think they should be. An efficient way to resolve things is to out a treaty in place. In the Summary of the Treaty of Granada, 1492, the government had to set up rules to get things the way they should be. When it come to Christians and Muslims in the same environment they wanted Muslims to convert to Christianity. The rulers through that they should be able to practice their religion so they said “That their law should be preserved as they were before, and that no-one should judge them except by those same laws.”. They put up agreement with the religions so that they could live in the same place, and so no one should judge them for being that religion. They even say “if a christian man should be found laughing at them he should be punished for it.” They add things that you think would be common, but in reality they had to add rules like this so they didn’t see things like this happening.”That no Christian should be allowed to peep over the wall, or into the house of a Muslim or enter a mosque”. When even reading this one you would think that it is important. I feel as this is significant, due to thinking that everyone should have a freedom to pick their own religion. Like I said earlier in the paper you can’t force a religion on someone that doesn’t want it. It doesn’t work like that. This was a good way to ensure protection for both Christians and Muslims. The main thing
