“The Five People You meet in Heaven” is an enchanting, beautiful crafted novel that explores a mystery only Heaven can unfold. It is a tale of life on earth. It’s a tale of life beyond it. It’s a fable about love, a warning about war and a nod of the cap of the real people of this world, the ones who never get their name in lights. CHARATERS MAJOR CHARACTERS: • Eddie- a crippled elderly man, head of maintenance at an amusement park called “Ruby Pier”, who is the protagonist and the main character of this novel. He was jokingly known as “Eddie Maintenance.” Eddie sees his life as worthless until he died on his 83rd birthday during a freak accident at the park trying to save a child from falling roller coaster car. He was awaken in Heaven and was taken a journey to meet five people whose lives intertwined with his in many ways which he never expected. • Eddie’s Mother- she was known for her deeply care and tenderness towards Eddies and his brother Joe offering her sons a nurturing alternative after the death of Eddie’s father. Eddie cared for her until her death. • Eddie’s Father- he had the biggest impact on Eddie’s life. He was the original maintenance head- the unwanted job inherited by Eddie.
