Synopsis
A classical pianist leases an old large residence on the fringe of town with the commitment of taking musical introspection; and a reckoning with his genius of becoming a great composer than merely a virtuoso, of which he is wildly known. While there, he eventually meets the only household occupant in the person of a ghost who also, when alive, was a classical composer. The specter longs to transition fully into death, having perished in the domicile one hundred years ago. However, it requires someone to take his post as resident ghost. Indeed, he has waited a long while for such a one as this.

This composition is in fact the thing that killed Franz, or I should say, half killed him and left him a ghost. Franz plans to complete his death by replacing Joseph with himself. Now it will be Joe who is going insane, who will wander to the cellar and hang himself, once done, Joseph will become a ghost and he will finally disappear from the house and become completely dead.
All things in place, the ghost has become fond of Joe and can't bring himself to entrap him. He tells him the truth of his death and his plans to entrap him in the house while he escapes to death but Joe thinks he is being dramatic. The ghost is enraged and tells him he will no longer appear to him. He never appears to Joe again and although Joe thinks it's jealousy that will wear off, Franz never appears again.
Joe goes on with his performances but his compositions become weaker. He now begins to desperately seek Franz assistance but to no avail. Besides this, there is the requiem that he can't seem to complete, all this is driving him mad. His agent Martin sees it and threatens to have him committed, but he throws him
