In the Gospel of John when John the Baptist is speaking in the Jordan, one thing always sticks out to me. When he sees Jesus walking he says,"Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world." He idolizes Jesus and he wants everyone else to know and see Him too. In today's time we are always obsessing over a knew singer or actor based on the way they look or how they present themselves. John the Baptist treated Jesus like He was a celebrity and he was just a random person walking on the sidewalk. Like famous people today, we want to be like them and follow in their footsteps.
