Chongqing is one of the four municipalities under direct administration by the central government (the other three being Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin). It is possibly the world's largest municipality with a population of 31.4 million and an area of 82,300 km². For tourists, Chongqing is more than just a springboard to kill your time before climbing aboard boats for Yangtze River Cruise. Joseph W. Stilwell (1883 - 1946) was born in Palatka, Florida, USA. He was graduated from West Point in 1904. Stillwell Museum is situated in the Yuzhong District in Chongqing city to commemorate General Joseph W. Stilwell who contributed greatly to the liberation of China during the World War II.

Cruising on the Yangtze River. Today you will be arranged to have the shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City. Fengdu is the only ghost city in China. First, take a cable car up to the hill and visit the temples all over the mountain with many statues. Then, return to the ship and pass towards the fantastic Three Gorges.
