Honda Accord: The Power of Dreams On March 6th, 2015 I became a proud owner of a 2013 Honda Accord LX, a silver 4 door sedan with 85,000 miles. A whopping 2.4 liter, 185 horse power engine designed to be eco-friendly. I was 16 but I have always wanted to buy my own car. Its name is Chelsea and she has been the best purchase I have ever made. I bought this car because it has tremendous gas mileage, great safety, and it was a great price. I have always lived green, doing anything possible to keep the world sustainable. On average Chelsea gets 27 miles per gallon in the city and 36 on the highway, getting up to 500 miles on a full tank. Not only am I saving a lot of money on gas compared to the average car, that uses 23.6 miles per gallon, but …show more content…
New cars typically have better safety features, thus why I bought a car made in 2013. The 2013 Honda Accord received five stars from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Safecar rating. I favor smaller cars because of gas mileage, however, safety features are needed for a car weighing 3200 pounds and my Honda fulfills this need. I have been working since I was 15 making 12.50 an hour, which enabled me to buy this car for 10,000 dollars. I bought this car for 5,000 dollars less than the normal price of this car at the time because my father sold it to me. It will be worth paying it off because I will have this car for many years coming.
The 2013 Honda Accord is the perfect first car for me, its gas mileage, safety, and the price is all I could ask for. I bought it because it is perfect for me! However, if money were not an option I would easily give Chelsea up for an all-black 2017 BMW I8. This 357 horsepower, two door hybrid sports car it at the top of my bucket list. The I8 is perfect for me because its design is sporty, I’m a BMW fan and its top of the line luxury vehicle, and it is a hybrid so I can continue the green

The I8 eye opener driving throughout the city, especially with its angel wing doors. Its style earned a ten out of ten on The Car Connection’s rating list. The all black design would make it look tough and sporty. The lines and flat silhouette for aerodynamics allow it to have a status of a sports car.
I’ve been a huge fan of every BMW on the market and the I8 combines their sport and luxury vehicles. The technology inside and outside the vehicle keeps technology geeks, like me, on their toes. This combination of sport, luxury, and top of the line technology made me fall in love with this machine. Whether it is an M class or one of the series It will surely get my attention. These German made cars have always been my favorite, and the I8 provides every BMW feature I love all into one car.
The I8 can hit 0-60 miles per hour in 4.2 seconds while releasing minimal emissions. It has a 7.1 kWh, 335V lithium-ion battery that drives 15 miles electric range and gets 76 MPGe. Unlike other sports cars this car has speed but drives mainly off of battery and Its aerodynamics allow it to get 30 more MPGe. The sports car is changing in today’s society, BMW took the body and strengths of a sports car and made it
