By moving close to Daisy’s house Gatsby shows that he wanted to be close to her. In the novel The Great Gatsby, Nick (the narrator/Daisy’s causing) says “Gatsby bought that house so that Daisy would be just across the bay” (ch.4). By doing that Gatsby showed he didn’t care about Daisy family all he wanted to do is to be close to Daisy. He wanted to be more close to Daisy so he ask Nick to invited her for tea. He moved close to her and had his causing invited her for tea too see her and be close to her. “He had waited five years and bought a masion where he dispered starlight to casual month so he could ‘came over’ some afternoon to a stranger’s garden.” (ch.4).
