The Great Gatsby Essay Prompt 3 The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, is told from a first person point of view by Nick Carraway. The big question that is presented is if Nick’s point of view can be trusted, as well as if the information is biased? In this essay, I will dive deeper into this question and find out! In the first couple chapters of the story, you can see how Nick is intrigued about his new neighbor Gatsby. He doesn't know much about him or how he got his fortune. This leads Nick to feel suspicious about Gatsby and in turn he starts to get more curious about Gatsby and his past. However, later Nick starts to admire and trust Gatsby. This switch up started to have me a little confused if Nick’s info really could be trusted and
