“The Great Gatsby” a novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, but what makes Gatsby this Great Gatsby? I will be explaining the meaning of this title in the following paragraphs and my brief understanding of this novel. Using symbols and themes will help describe my opinion on Gatsby and describing his ways either good or evil decisions to try to recreate his past with Daisy. The title of novel has many meaning making Gatsby the superb individual in the story. Many themes make him great in this novel but we don't know if Fitzgerald is being real or not with just the small title. There are many ways to look at it, you don’t know if Fitzgerald is being ironic or Gatsby really is Great which comes to be he is very wealthy, young and handsome. Also in the novel she runs over Myrtle, after having a scary discussion with Tom and him, but he takes the blame for her because he cannot let her be in danger after a murder.
