The Handmaid's Tale Act Two Analysis

Here we meet the heroes of our story. #1 and #2. And our villains: #3 and #4. #3 is chopping #2 in half. He’s bleeding. And...Omg shield your eyes. He’s dead. #1 just put #4 in a paper shredder. Oh no. #4 jammed it cause he’s so fat. And he’s dead. #1 and #3 went their own separate ways to remember their fallen comrades. #1 went back to his base to tell his boss, #5, and his comrades #s 6-25, that #2 had been chopped in half. So 2 days later, they went back and buried the rotting, chopped up body. They had a funeral, planted a garden and 20 trees, and buried his weapons with him. They had a very happy reunion and #2 got married to #59 and they had 20 children on the spot. #s 123-143. 5 years later, #2 died from getting cut in half, because, as it turned out, the wound was never fully healed, always getting bigger and worse. So off to hell was #2. Now we will follow #3 from 5 years back when he chopped #2 in half. #3 went to his villainous friends, #s 26-45. His boss #46, was very angry when he heard that #4 had been shredded. The body was already buried by #3, and because they were villainous, they did not have a funeral for #4. Instead, #46 cast a spell on #3. #3 got married to #47, had 11 children (#s 48-58), and died. As it turned out, the spell casted on #3 was death, as soon as he had a child. So off to hell he went. In hell he bumped into #s 2 and 4, and they had a war. DUN DUN

Now, back in the real world, we visit #47. #47 was very sad that her husband had died because of this spell. So a month after her husband died, she went to #46’s house while he was sleeping, took a sword, and made a giant gaping perfect 2 foot circle, going right through his stomach and back, without leaving any trace that someone had done this to him. Back with the good guys, #59, knowing that #47’s husband, #3, killed her husband, #2, went to #47’s house. One by one, she murdered each and every child in the house, and finally came to #47’s room. #59 located her, and started stabbing. #47, turned around screaming, especially when she saw #59 standing there with a bloody knife. But, this was exactly what #59 needed. With a horrific force, #59 stabbed #47 in the heart, slashing and slashing until she was dead twice. That sounds pretty fun to be in #47’s place, doesn’t it? #59 decided that she and her 20 children must be reunited with #2. So she went home, and the next night, killed every one of her children, making sure that she killed all 20, as well as making sure not to kill anyone that was not her child. Then, it was her turn to
