As the current presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton stated on September 8th, 2015, she admitted to her mistakes for controversial email decisions in recent years. Hillary Clinton has been caught in a web of scandals during her political years, including when she wasn’t in political positions as her husband's scandals were involving her. In 2015, the most recent scandal involves Hillary’s use of her personal email and its relation with classified information. “For the four years she was secretary of state, Clinton never used an official state.gov email address”(Voorhees). She would instead rely on her private email account on her own server for her governmental business (Voorhees). The scandal has not stopped Hillary’s campaign for president, even if when first released some would argue that it dropped her poll numbers due to lack of trust. The ethical responsibilities and problems in this email scandal are clear: Hillary should not have taken it upon herself to decide to follow her own way of doing government business as well as she should not have incriminated herself by deleting 31,830 emails (Voorhees). Hillary Clinton is a person of great influence and power; therefore, in return she should be an ethical decision maker.
