The Goonies and The Hunger Games are similar and different regarding The Hero's Journey such as Test Allies and Enemies, The Mentor, and the Reward Each has a number of key differences and key similarities. She has become the victor of the Seventy-fourth Hunger Games. If Katniss would not have persisted throughout the entirety of the Games, then she would have been killed off. This helps support the book's theme of survival because without perseverance, Katniss would not have made it that far in the Games. She would have not at all been able to go home to Prim.
