Polar opposite to Silver Lining Playbook, Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games shows that she can play a role with mental stability. This proves that she can play a multitude of varying rules. She has impressive chops. In The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence plays Katniss Everdeen, an overly mature sixteen year old in a dystopian society. Kids are put in a battling arena and only one can survive. She is thrown into the arena with one of her love interest Peeta Mellark. In the movies, she plays a very dominant role.
