There is a fictional story called The Lottery. Made by shirley Jackson. It date on 1948 June 27, every year they have one. The Lottery is on summer clear sunny morning, the flowers are blooming and the grass rich green at 10 am. The day of the Lottery kid collected stone the parents gather in the town square and called the children over, then came mr sumner head of the lottery came with the back blocks. The lottery was tradition ritual in this village There are about 300 hundred people in the town. The Lottery began old man warner said Lottery in june crops be heavy soon. Everyone is in the family even the babies. So all the hutchinson family draw. Tessy got the dot, so everyone got a stone tessie stand there and people thrown stone until she was deid. The theme throughout the story is the power of tradition. The tradition made the people die over many years. Everyone in that village has killed someone just for the crops and mr atom tried to make them quit put the oldest man at the village turn him down, nothing could change their minds. The people that are there are selfish because of the lottery. When Bill got the black dot Tessie said it was not fair but everyone took the same change. So there family went up to draw the tessy wanted evea but she was not in the family anymore because she married someone and tessy new that. Her kid were glad they didn’t get the black dot but they new Tessie of Bill would get it. When Tessie got she said it was not fair.
