The idea of what is your American Dream? Is based on the idea that every young adult is the master of their own life. However, the Millennials have contributed into working to redefine it. In particular, we, as Americans, have seemingly resolved or smoothed-out some version of the “American Dream”, but are still faced with so many hardships. In order to overcome a number of moral dilemmas put in front of them, they try to improve the economy for a future generation. Some people see the millennial generation as lazy and wanting everything to is handed to them. On the other side, some may see them as go-getters that strive to achieve a better future for themselves and following generations. They struggle with some of the oldest problems and some of the most difficult issues sorted among them from previous generations, but they have found a new way to look at problems and resolved them. Though the United States may have created the impression that the American Dream is gone, it has caused many changes at the way the millennials view the American dream. It is to believe that our ancestors find it unbelievable why a younger adult wants to travel and live their everyday lives, instead of living a boring life. However, homeownership is currently at its lower rate. This explains the reason for the millennial has been through. Some believe that millennial has failed and given up their dreams of buying their own home, but research has found that middle range group millennials wait out to the near future to purchase a home. Some people will continue working for that dream while others may procrastinate. The choice of purchasing a home all depends on financial stabilities each individual person.
Most millennials only consider renting because with the rentals millennials are able to pay the rent which leaves them the ability to travel as they are pleased. I which myself who is in included in the middle range group of millennials, find it hard to plan a trip and other hand think of all the bills that need to be paid.
