The Super Bowl that season was one of the most exciting one in Super Bowl history because of Kurt Warner setting a Super Bowl record 414 passing yards and one of the
It was hard to believe I was headed to University of Michigan to watch the Wolverines play Akron in football. It was my first time going to the Big House. Our tickets came late, we had to print off four copies to get in . We got there so early we tailgated with some students. Then went to buffalo wild wings for drinks and to use the bathroom before we went in the stadium.
It felt like there was a million people there, but I was wrong. I ended up finding out that 5 million Cubs fans went out to Chicago to celebrate, and it was known to be the largest sports event in United States history. We walked to a a street in front of Millennium Park that was closed out for the parade. That 's when my dad said" Let 's keep going that way", pretending like he knew where he was going. We decided to stop.
That morning me, my mom, and my sisters went to the competition. It stunk we had to walk all the way there because the skywalk was closed and it was freezing cold. I was so tired because me and my mom stayed up tell 1:00 A.M. helping my mom make sign for every single girl that was on the cheer team. Right when we walked into the area where they performed its was so loud there was blaring loud speakers playing music for the teams. It was funny right
When the AAA Saline baseball team found out we were going to Cooperstown we were so excited. But it cost $2,000 a person so we had to do a whole bunch of fundraiser. . We had a whole bunch on our plate because we had to do fundraisers and we had to practice a lot to be ready. The ride up there was really boring because it was 10 hours
When I was 7 years old I went to my first high school game with my mom, the teams that played were Roosevelt and Flower. I will never forget that day Sept 8th at 8PM friday night lights. My older cousin Brett Pierce was the starting Cornerback for flowers, I admired him because he the starting Corner and he was ranked #23 in the Nation for his position. My cousin ended the game with 18 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles that was one of the greatest days of my life. After the game was over I asked my mom could she sign me up to play football, she told me I wasn’t big enough.
“The winning home run”. It was a Friday night at Dodger stadium a really cold night at that time i was only 11 years old in the year 2011. My Dad and I went to watch our favorite baseball team the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was the Dodgers vs the Colorado Rockies the Dodgers were going for there second straight sweep so my Dad and I knew the stadium was going to be full of screaming, loud and mad fans. As my Dad and I arrived we were getting out the car when we see the giant lines of Dodger fans trying to get into the stadium just to try to get a ball from batting practice from the Dodgers .
We had a lot of fun even though our brothers team wasn't doing too well, after we left that first game I couldn't stop thinking about that really cute girl I sat next to. I thought that it was a fun experience but I didn't think it would go anywhere, but boy was I wrong.
After a couple drinks my dad and his friend go into the stadium and find their seats. My dad only had 3 or 4 drinks at the Packer game and at the beginning of 3rd quarter they finally left to go home. My dads friend dropped my dad off at his car in appleton then, my dad drove home only to the edge of Oshkosh at the last stop light. He only made it that far because he got pulled over.
Red and Gold Throughout the week the anticipation builds, you can feel it in the air you breathe. Everyone is talking about the game that is coming up that weekend and predicting how the team will perform. That is what got me so excited for my first Iowa State football game. The day of the game was perfect for football the weather was fantastic the sun was peeking through the clouds, and the air had a little nip to it.
Sitting on the couch on a cold brisk november evening watching LSU play their rival the Crimson tide of Alabama. With cheers and boos howling out of my dad’s mouth as we scored or let go of
One of my best days was when my soccer team won the championship. I won several other championships ,but with other teams. This was my first season playing with this team. The major characters in this event were me, my teammates, my coaches and the parents. This event took place in a park at sanger during the summer.
One great progress I made is how to write a sentence to present the topic of the paper and reflect my position on that topic. As the most important sentence in an essay, thesis statements express the purpose of this writing. Before taking ENGL3000, I was confused about how to focus my ideas into one sentence; my thesis statements were too general, sprawling, and superficial to make my audiences clearly understand what these papers were about. However, after finishing many readings and writings in this class, I have grasped the key strategies to phrase a specific, arguable, and supportive thesis statement. More specifically, an effective thesis statement should have a specific topic to keep readers focus on the argument, reflect my position
The first time on a football field and i was very hyped about it cause i got to play and the coach put me as starter because i was the biggest one on the field. The very first play we got sacked but are left lineman didn't stop the ball they got pushed over and we got sacked. The ball was on the 25 yard line and we were trying to get to the fifteen yard line to get the first down and we were short 10 yards but we could still get cause if we work hard you play hard.
