In America, we are protected by certain laws and right. We have the Bill of Rights which protects certain freedoms that other countries do not get to experience. We are very privileged in that sense. Amendment four, five, six, and eight are called the Rights of the accused. They protect those against abuse by the federal government. They help run this country smoothly and protect those who cannot protect themselves. For instance, let 's say a police officer did not like the looks of the everyday common citizen and he wanted to search his car.
