Brain is the major part of the human body that controls all the body functions and makes them work properly. If we learn about the brain we will get to know that there are a lot of components that make a brain. There are thousands and millions of neurons and cells are combined to form a proper structure of the brain. As scientists are well aware of the brain’s complexity, they have discovered a new way of understanding the brain more closely.

Brain mapping is a technique that has been discovered by the scientists to locate the parts of the brain according to their function. Different regions of the brain play different role. It is important to know the exact place that relates to the specific functions. Brain mapping is referred to as the study of anatomy and the functions of the brain through images, neurophysiology, nanotechnology, engineering, etc. It provides with the complete picture of …show more content…

Brain mapping reveals the abnormalities in the structure of brain and how they are to be treated in the long run.
Bipolar disorder, panic disorder, depression, eating disorders and some other such type of issues are being examined by different techniques of brain mapping.
Techniques used in Brain mapping:
There are various techniques that are used for brain mapping. Different human brain and their different functions are being examined by a number of techniques. Some of the techniques that are used in the brain are as follows:

Electroencephalography (EEG): It is a process in which the impulses of the brain are recorded to know the pattern of the brain activity. It is usually used to diagnose epilepsy and seizure in the people.
Computer axial tomography (CAT) scan: This is a technique which produces the images of the brain by the use of X-rays and providing the image on the computer screen. CAT scans are widely used to evaluate the brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and
