To Kill A Mockingbird was a novel about a man named Atticus finch, he had a son and a daughter. Their family believes that everyone should be equal and nice to each other. The story goes on to when Atticus defends a black man and a lot of people get worked up about it. While at court, Tom Robinson was found guilty for something he didn't do because of some false information that was exposed. The theme in the book was that sometimes one’s information is not important to the opinion of others. This theme was used in this book during the court seen. The false information really brings Tom Robinson down. It is relevant today because of Censorship. Censorship is basically a cover of what people have done or said that doesn't need to be public. If you use Censoring to cover up something that needs to be exposed then Censoring is not good. For example, if you use Censoring to cover up for killing someone, like using fake information to make yourself look better you actually aren't really helping anyone out. But if you use Censoring correctly it can help you and others out. So if someone dies in a car crash or something and they Censor the names, that is good in my opinion because the close family members are aware that someone in their family has died and probably doesn't want the whole world to know right away. I think that news stations and that censor people's names so that the close family members can find out first rather than finding out someone in their family died through the internet. So with that being said the lesson is that false information is useless. And I think that fits my argument pretty well! I don't think we can really need to change anything, I just think that we do need some sort of Censor in life and it is ok if we have Censors. Overall the Censoring is good right now and should stay that
