Powerful countries like China, India, and Japan didn’t take an interest in exploring because they didn’t have a real need for it. They had all the resources for it, but since they already had a social order and the needs for the society, exploration wasn’t necessary or something that they had to worry about. For example, when China was under the Ming Dynasty they got involved in some exploring, but it never got to the point of colonization like the Europeans did. China later got rid of the ships and materials they had built for exploring since they didn't find a real outcome in it and since thought they were more powerful than the rest of the other countries they thought they didn't need exploration to learn anything of the world or from anyone …show more content…

Thomas Aquinas was greatly influenced by Aristotle and it clearly reflected through his works. Aquinas adopted Aristotle’s theories of place, motion, and time making them his primary source of inspiration to his own philosophical thoughts. Aristotle wasn’t the only inspiration in St. Thomas Aquinas but he was the most important one related to God and living. He believed that God and the natural world were connected, and that Aristotle’s thought that all living things had soul, including plants and animals were true. Because of his idea of the existence of God which was influenced by Aristotle, and the ways of living the Church wouldn’t approve his work, the archbishop of Paris declared his thoughts as profanation. Without this happening the world would be very different right now and I believe we wouldn’t have many things. The Neolithic Revolution was when society discovered agriculture, without agriculture people searched for food and practiced hunting almost every day. Agriculture also changed the way people lived their lives, migration was no longer necessary since people could just stay and grow their own food without having to move in search of food. Farming lead to business making, now people could make a living off of selling their goods and also jobs were created since people could now work at the field. Food that wasn’t “sold” could be traded with things other people had, so trading started to become really popular since then. With all the things going out around this revolution, now a form of government was necessary, and since it was necessary it was obviously created. Their government consisted in dividing the role people played in each job, they needed people to farm, cook, trade, and of course keep the order in the new society formed. Since population growth also came along with this revolution civilizations were being created, and with bigger civilizations comes the true form of government and social control which can also be seen today. In the actual world we have massive corporations that sell meat and vegetables worldwide, without the Neolithic Revolution we wouldn’t have that
