For a successful photograph, every single object is actively involved, with professionals, professional experiences and creativity in their respective fields. That objects are clothes and accessories which are exhibited in fashion photographs. In a way which that products are displayed and the context in which they are displayed is the determining of factors in the formation of the photographs. For this reason, it is important that fashion photographs are taken according to a specific concept. It is also important to make them interesting. The styles in which each garment has different functions and even the philosophy of the fashion designer is determinative in determining this concept.

It was in the beginning of the last century when fashion photography has started, Vogue Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar had a big effect, along the years, display to the world the amazing fashion photographs. It almost goes without saying that the 1960’s were a time of huge confusion. Vietnam, civil rights, the Cold War, changing fashions, the space race, Woodstock, certainly a lot to pack into one decade. After the Second World War, fashion goes through theatrical variations, and innumerable new designers emerged in the 1950’s and 1960’s. They were ground-breaking, inventive, brave and insolent. 60’s fashion belonged to London, England. This expanding demand for fashion, allied to changes in social and moral values, had a major impact on fashion photography. The best young photographers such as David Bailey, Terence Donovan and Brian Duffy enjoyed that rapid increasing fees and status. They helped to give a shape to the mythical images of London mostly in the 1960, where fun and sex could be had, where dreams could come true.
