Have you ever had that one friend that you knew that always had your back or you wished that you had that friend that had your back even in the worst situation. In the novel by Fred Hiatt called Nine Days sort of tells you how close you and your friend or family member really are. Often we think just because we have friends that they are loyal. In the novel it lets you know how Ethan Wynkoop shows Ti-Anna how loyal he is after he decides to go to china in search for Ti-Anna’s missing father. Ethan Wynkoop and i are similar and different on some views. We have different view on the world, are viewed by the world by the world in distinctive ways and I would respond in a different way to the central conflict of the novel on a certain circumstance. Therefore, I don't really know if we might or might not be friends. Ethan views the world as equal opportunity and freedom. He is all out on helping and focusing on others situations more than he focuses on his own. It can lead to his own dramatic downfall. He gets the idea idea to tag along to help find Ti-Anna's father. There are a few that would agree with me if they actually took the time to think about it and not be a follower and allow their self judgement to give their own opinion. I don’t believe that much in helping someone that can help themselves also capable of helping themselves. Usually when you help someone they are going to think you are suppose to help them everytime they get into trouble or need money then after that is can I stay in your house. Then that one time you don't help them they don't want nothing to do with you becuase they feel that you are not a real true friend. The main character Ethan Wynkoop and I have different views on terms of helping those that can help
