2.1 Life Is Good Not life, but good life, is to be chiefly valued. – Socrates (469 BC – 399 BC), the classical Greek philosopher. Life is good. It has been and it will be. Don 't let anyone fool you, it 's not. Life, for and itself, is good; and furthermore, you choose a good life. Choose to feel good (not bad) -- it’s a choice. When you feel good the world feels good with you. Life is beautiful. Don’t ever ignore the ‘feel good’ factor. Everyone is responsible for their share of joy. Feeling good is only a choice away. Life is fine, all the time! Health and sleep are better appreciated when they are interrupted. Likewise, you appreciate ‘life is good’ only when you contrast it with when it is not. Feeling good or otherwise is a reflection of our inner self, our physical and mental well-being. Research on well-being concentrates on 3 core factors: health, relationships and a sense of purpose in one’s chosen pursuit. Sense of purpose is something that really comes from inside – spontaneous happiness – not from external circumstances. We feel good when we are happy; and when we are able to make other people happy. Enjoy together. Joy is a great spirit, an optimistic attitude, and a heart full of love. Joyfulness keeps the body young and the face fresh. Yet, joyfulness, as we know, cannot give an uninterrupted state of mind. Good time has to alternate with not so good time. Feeling good is inseparably linked with being in a joyous mood.
