The definition of gun based on Wikipedia is a weapon consisting a metal tube from which bullets, shells, or other missiles are propelled by explosive force, likely making a loud and sharp noise. Gun can be a weapon of mass destruction if in the wrong hand that can cause an injuries and higher number of gun-related deaths. Gun is definitely not for everyone as it can be a dangerous tool if a certain people cannot handle it properly with safety. In the recent years, gun violence has become a hot issues that been discussing all the countries around the world, especially for countries that have higher number of death by gun such as United States of America and Europe. Gun control is a ways to control a misuse of gun and to prevent bad event from happening among civilians. “Gun control (or firearms regulation) is the set of laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of firearms by civilians.’’(Wikipedia, gun control). There are few countries that have law about gun policy categorised as permissive with most countries have a restrictive firearm legislation , (www.gunpolicy.org)

Gun violence in the USA is an example of huge international crisis that turn to higher number of deaths and injuries yearly (National Research Council, 2004). In 2013, record shows that 73,505 nonfatal firearm injuries and 33,636 deaths because of injury by firearms or a 10.6 deaths per 100,000 USA civilians. (The National Academies Press, 2013).
