Introduction
Leaders are born and leaders are made, so said Brigette Tasha Hyacinth in the book ‘The Edge of Leadership: A Leader’s Handbook for Success’ (Oct. 26, 2014) . Leadership could be inherent because some people are naturally born with the charisma that makes them leaders, the likes of; Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Margaret Thatcher. Therefore, a little of training would change them into great leaders. This agrees with the fact that, even-though there are exceptional cases regarding born leaders; the place of training for leadership cannot be underrated.

The above scriptures show that Moses was prepared for leadership. He to identified with his people rather than enjoy the riches in the King’s house. God was moved to use him for the Israelites because of the passion he had for his flock. He led the Israelites who were very difficult people out of the land of captivity. He loved the Israelites just like he loved his flock with tenderness of heart. He was humble and transparent and he was able to train a successor , a man called Joshua. He was not selfish.
