I. What is respect?

Respect is the proper way you treat others. It is the way you think of others. Having respect for someone means you think good things about who a person is or how he/she acts. You can have respect for others, and you can have respect for yourself. Showing respect for others include things like not calling people mean names, treating people with courtesy, caring enough about yourself that you don 't do things you know can hurt you. Respect revolves around the love. For how can you respect someone when you do not love that someone. It is having a greater compassion and admiration for someone that you have respect.

II. Why should we respect our Parents, Grandparents and Elders ?

Respect is a positive admiration for someone, It is on how you treat a him/her. Respect is something which you need to have in order to get.

Our parents should be the primary person we should respect. For we owe our entire life to them. The have worked hard, endured such difficult endeavors and had made painful sacrifices for you. It is the least we could do. Our parent’s had that “unconditional love”
For us. A love that made them gave up their all, just for us. There is nothing we could ever do to repay their love, but to do your best is all that is needed to make them proud.
