Research in 2013 proved that almost eight new users log on the internet every second; most of them are young people. The internet has resulted in a generation of lazy young people. The generation has begun to put less effort in daily activities such as physical involvement, social interaction, and education. The internet has so much information available. However, we have begun to use it over critical thinking and intellectual conversation among each other. We have begun to search what to do on the internet instead of attempting to figure it out ourselves. We even search how other people have handled their problems to solve ours. The use of the internet equals laziness. Physical involvement is one of the most important issues that internet use has led us to have conflict with. The internet is easily preferred over physical movement today. A report from England shows how only one-third of eleven year old boys, and less than a fifth of girls, meet recommended levels of physical activity because of their involvement on the internet. The internet has become a new playground for young people. The internet is a playground full of different games, music, applications, and websites. With a young persons’ attention focused on the multimedia of the internet how can they be active. When will they participate in physical activities? Recently, I made the decision of choosing Netflix, an online streaming website, over a game of baseball. The decision said I’d rather watch movies than get
