894 Words4 Pages

Thematic analysis can be consider as the most suitable for any research that aims to discover using interpretation. It provides a systematic element of data analysis. It allows the researcher to associate the analysis of the frequency of a theme with one or the whole content. This will confer accuracy and enhance the research’s whole meaning. Qualitative research require understanding and collecting variety aspects and data. Thematic Analysis gives the researcher an opportunity to understand the potential of any issue more widely (Alhojailan and Ibrahim, 2012).
Thematic Analysis allows the researcher to determine precisely the relationships between concepts and compare it with the available data. By using thematic analysis there are possibility …show more content…

There are four step of constant comparative method which is first comparatively assigning incidents to categories. If some units of analysis do not fit any preexisting category, new classifications may have to be created. Units that fit into more than one category should be copied and included where relevant throughout the process, the emphasis is on comparing units and findings similarities among the units that fit into the category (Wimmer and Dominick, …show more content…

Researchers normally use these coding methods during the data analysis of the research data. The first process in coding is open coding. Open coding can be define as the process of breaking the qualitative data down into distinct parts and coding these using the vivo coding, process coding, and other coding methods. The researchers then will examine these parts closely and compare for the similarities and differences. During the process, the researchers may already become aware of emerging categories and code them directly. It is important for the researcher to remember that these initial codes and categories are tentative and may change as the analysis process progresses (Theron,
