The Boy in the Red Bandana was an inspirational person for many reasons. He worked in buisness, but he had always wanted to be a firefighter. On the tragic day of 9/11, he stepped up to bat with the baseball was coming at full force. That’s when Welles decided that he would risk his life for the purpose of saving others. Welles has inspired many people with his story of kind human nature, and that is exactly the type of good influences the world needs. On 9/11, Welles made the risky decision to head into the Twin Towers, to save many lives. He wore a red bandana, and that’s the part of the story that made him known for his actions. Many more lives could’ve been taken that day, but because of Welles, it was him who passed instead of the people
