Some of the agencies that information will be collected from are the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS), Department of Criminal Justice Information Services (DCJIS), and Law Enforcement Records Management Systems. When collecting data from these various agencies, there would be a focus on race and socioeconomic status. More specifically, data will be collected on the amount of minorities with low socioeconomic status who are incarcerated and recently exonerated.
