Stereotyping is a serious issue. Stereotyping creates false perspectives of the world. For one thing, they make people miss out on opportunities and chances. For example, the stereotypes that all black people are dangerous. To illustrate, a person might avoid black people but then the person they have avoided all this time turns out to be a nice and genuine person so you just missed out on making a good new friend. Next, stereotypes limit people; people can do so much more than what stereotypes are saying. For instance, the stereotype that black people need to stick to sports and not do anything else.
