Physical disability is one of the most challenging things that someone can go through in their lifetime one of those people is Matt Barnes who overcomes the challenges of having a physical disability and helps his client through his dedication and courage. The Justice Project is a mystery novel by Michael Betcherman that tells us the story of Matt Barnes, A high school student who is passionate about solving his cases. But when Matt’s client Ray Richardson is charged with murder, he wants to fight for his client's innocents, later on in the book he discovers his courage and determination. More about Matt Barnes himself is that he is a dynamic character who overcomes some of the challenges of having a physical disability. Even with his disability, Matt is passionate about solving cases. However, when he is told to solve the murder of Ray Richardson’s Family, He learns that his physical limitations do not prevent him from succeeding. Matt works tirelessly to crack the case even when it seems difficult, which clearly shows his dedication and drive to do what he needs to do, As he says “ I’m sorry, Mrs. Richardson. I truly am. Betcherman (40) ”
This shows us exactly how much Matt is dedicated and wishes to help the Richardson family, not thinking about his disability he keeps trying, compassionate about assisting these people in need.
Throughout This investigation of Ray’s care, he gains a sense of hope that he can crack this case, As he remarks
