North Korea has been under a dictatorship where even the most beloved soldier can be executed. North Korea is in an systematic tyranny. Tyranny is a government given by a tyrant.. After the death of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il took total control over the country. Kim Jong Il early life is not that know because of the cult of personality that’s around the Kim Dynasty. The cult of personality that surrounds them comes from myths, so no one really knows where or when Kim Jong Il was born. Out of all the dictators, Kim Jong Il was the cruelest. He never took anyone 's opinions in policy decisions. Kim Jong Il ensured his position by punishing people who did not agree with him. In the 90s, North Korea went through a series of devastating economic episodes. The worst episode was a record-breaking floods in 1995 and 1996 followed by a drought in 1997 that destroy North Korea’s food production. Only 18 percent of its land suitable for farming, North Korea experienced a devastating famine. Despite Juche and never catering to the people of North Korea, Kim Jong Il was still always beloved by his people for they continually served him and the regime. Societies true feelings were shown upon the news of Kim Jong-Il’s death. After the death of Kim Jong Il the torch was passed to his youngest son and current leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un.
The date of his birth and early life of Kim Jong Un is a mystery. Only thing that is really known about Kim Jong Un childhood is he is the youngest son of Kim Jong Il. Kim Jong Il started preparing Kim Jong Un to take over leadership in 2010. After his father’s death in 2011, Kim Jong Un took full control over North Korea.
