As the I held the doorknob, I looked up at the princess one last time before opening my fate. She glanced at me with no expression on her face. I opened the door and there sat the tiger. I was frightened but at the same time upset and furious with the princess, wondering why would she do such a thing. The tiger snarled and growled as if about to pounce on me. All I could do was await my fate, I closed my eyes and prepared for the worst. To my surprise nothing happened, I peeped an eye to find the tiger gently laying on the ground waiting to get petted or something. At first I was afraid to move thinking the tiger would then strike, but then I gained the courage and moved towards the tiger who showed no signs of hostility whatsoever. “ Is that so? Well then unguard”
Scraping and slashing we started battling again. Deep inside my mind I knew I had to beat this man. I had to find someway. Then it hit me, I was doing this for love and self respect while this man was just doing it out of jealousy and selfishness. My motivation was greater than this. Just at that instance I felt a surge of energy flow through my body giving me immense strength. The king noticed as well for he began to step back as I pushed him ever so closer to edge of the arena.
“ Stop, I'll give you anything you want. You want my daughter? Fine take her. You want riches, you got it.” said the king desperately.
“ I don't want your bribes to save your life. I want your life.” I said to him as I continued slashing.
As I put forth a powerful strike the king lost grip of his sword and it slipped, flying and crashing to the ground. Putting my sharp blade against his neck I spoke
“ It’s over, I’ve won”
The guards came rushing into the arena.
“ Please I'll do anything, just don't kill me” said the king
“ You are hereby banished from this kingdom for
